I think subscription boxes are so much fun! I love being introduced to new fabrics and sewing notions that I wouldn’t typically choose or know about. Cotton Cuts has some really great subscription boxes! I absolutely love them because there are so many ways to customize the box to fit your style! Choose fat quarters or half yard bundles. Don’t like juvenile fabric? That’s ok… check the box and you wont receive it!

I wasn’t sure whether or not I should include this box in the stash builder category or the projects category. I decided on fabric because you get SO MUCH FABRIC in this box. While I didn’t tend to get the fabric I typically would choose for myself in this box… it still impressed me because you get so much for the price! See for yourself!

The Sew Sampler is by far the best priced subscription box out there! This box is available through the Fat Quarter Shop and I just love it! While I think it is best suited for a beginner quilter I still can’t stop getting it each month because it is just so fun! Why? Well, you not only get gorgeous fabric each month, but also fun notions to try. You receive a pattern and a block of the month each month as well. You really do get a lot for your money with this one!

I just love the Sew What Box. This is a project based subscription box, but I am putting it in this category because when it comes to project boxes, this one has a great price! What makes this box stand apart from the rest is that the project comes pre cut. Yes, you heard that right… it comes pre cut! So you can start sewing right away!

Project Boxes

The Open Gate Quilt box is far and away my favorite subscription box to receive each month. This box is impeccably curated. Monique Jacobs takes great care in making sure every aspect of this box is perfect. You receive two projects each month. One is a large project and the other is a small project. You will also get a few extras and those extras almost always tie back to the project. You may get color coordinated thread or a notion that helps you complete the project. This box is perfection and I just know you will love it!
