If you have been quilting for any amount of time you have probably already noticed that there are so many different methods to create different blocks. Today I am going to share the two different methods I use to create Flying Geese Quilt Blocks.
The first method I am sharing does have more fabric “waste”. I usually sew the cut off triangles together to create half square triangles. I prefer this method when I want those extra HSTs.
Method two is my favorite because there is minimal waste. I do size the blocks larger and then trim the blocks down to size so that any stretching from those bias seams becomes a non issue for the finished block.
